The forty-six bed hospital will be Triumph HealthCare’s 12th location in the area. Locally, the company operates 10 long-term acute care (LTAC) hospitals and a rehabilitation hospital located in Clear Lake.
“We are very excited to expand Triumph’s presence along the northeastern corridor. The new rehabilitation hospital will enhance our ability to meet the post-acute needs of patients throughout Greater Houston,” stated Ron Cronen, Regional Vice President of Operations for Triumph HealthCare. “In our state-of-the-art facility, we will provide specialized rehabilitation services closer to home for many residents.”
At full occupancy, the hospital will employ about 105 medical, nursing, therapy and support staff. , Treating about 1,200 patients each year, the hospital will feature all private rooms and over 6,600 square feet of therapy space, with the latest in rehabilitative technology, a therapy pool and specialized programs for patients with complex physical and cognitive needs.
Cronen said the hospital’s programs will include care for patients suffering from stroke, brain injury, lower extremity amputation and spinal cord injury.
Triumph Rehabilitation Hospital Northeast Houston will be one of 36 hospitals operated by Triumph HealthCare and RehabCare. RehabCare is the nation’s fourth largest provider of post-acute services.
